The events of the game should take place ten years before the events narrated in the first chapter of Kingdom Hearts storyline focusing on the previous custodians of the Keyblade. The conduct of the story seems to focus on research, by three young apprentices Keyblade-guardians of their teacher, the Guardian of the Keyblade Xehanort, and another apprentice. Their disappearance seems to herald a great misfortune. The game will take place between the old and new Disney scenarios, highlighting the various time differences between this and the previous chapter of the saga (for example in the Coliseum will meet a young Hercules).



Gli eventi del gioco dovrebbero svolgersi dieci anni prima degli eventi narrati nel primo capitolo di Kingdom Hearts incentrando la trama sui precedenti custodi del keyblade. Lo svolgimento della storia sembra incentrato sulla ricerca, da parte di tre giovani apprendisti-custodi del Keyblade del loro maestro, il Custode del Keyblade Xehanort, e un altro apprendista.
